    Citroen Xsara HDI 110 Questions

    Just a few quick questions.

    I am very interested in getting one of these- as for the money you cant get much more of a car spec wise.

    Obviously i would want a remap to take it into the 140+ range.

    However my only worry is, that the clutch wont be able to handle it. And as far as i can tell there isnt any uprated clutches for the xsara 110.

    Are the clutches on the 90 and 110 different as i know the 90 clutch wont cope with the 140.
    However if the 110 clutch is different you would assume it will start to struggle around 160 ish???


    Anyone have any ideas?

    The 110 clutch is weaker as it has a Dual Mass Flywheel Click here to enlarge but it's now peak power that kills it, it's the torque. On the DMF I wouldn't go much above 300Nm, which is about the same as on the 90.

    no nesecarily mines a 110 xsara and it has the ordinary flywheel i know cause i changed the clutch in it

    Citroen show a solid flywheel for both DW10TD and DW10ATED on the MKII.
