    Simply put the Mk7 90PS does NOT have DPF, only the 95PS has a DPF.
    My 2009, 90BHP 1.6TDCI does have the DPF according to ETIS. It also keeps the cooling fan blowing for 3-4 minutes after engine shuts down some times, i guess this is the dfp-regenerating.

    what difference would a DPF make to the ownership of a car, if any? Only thing you would have to worry about is which oil you use for the motor. Other than that, how could it possibly affect what used car you would buy?

    If your driving style is only short trips, then the DPF will get clogged, and need to be replaced every so often. Its also not optimal for exhaust flow.
